Join Us this Saturday at the Farmer's Market
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Spring Farmer's Market at the Grogan's Mill Village Center opened on March 21st to record-breaking crowds.  New vendors this Spring include Family Beef (grass-fed beef and organic eggs) and Rain Song Farms (chemical-free fresh vegetables); plus many of our previous vendors are returning with their fresh vegetables and fruits, meats, soy candles, organic dog treats, orchids, goat soaps, organic breads and bakery items, and much more.  Come join us every Saturday morning from 8 AM to 12 Noon, rain or shine.  The Farmer's Market is fast becoming a weekly "habit" for those wanting the freshest in produce, prepared foods and baked goods as well as unique personal care and gift items.  It's a great chance to connect with your neighbors, too!
Earth Day Celebration on April 18
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Celebrate Earth Day with The Woodlands GREEN. The Woodlands Earth Day Festival is Saturday, April 18 - 10 A.M. to 3 P.M. at The Woodlands High School - 6101 Research Forest Dr.  Hands-on activities and booths feature energy-saving technology, healthy solutions, earth-friendly products, conservation tips and the diversity of nature. Traditional offerings include the Buy Recycled Boutique, family entertainment and an Ecology Carnival with free activities for kids.

The Village Associations have been challenged to have residents pledge to use (as often as possible) the reusable shopping bags.....the Village with the most pledges will be awarded $500 for their student scholarship fund.  The Grogan's Mill Village Association is asking Grogan's Mill residents to please link to the site below and fill out the brief form.  It doesn't cost anything and it's almost painless!  If you have more than one email address (one for each spouse, for instance), please sign up under both names.  Also, if you know of other Grogan's Mill residents that you can forward this to, that would be great.....thanks so much for you help.
