Do Not Call Registry
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Make sure your phone number is listed in the National Do Not Call Registry.
It has been five years since the Do Not Call Registry was started.  You may have started getting telephone solicitation calls recently.  That is because the registration is for five years.  You should renew again by going to the following web address,  www.donotcall.gov.  You can list up to three numbers.
Or you can call 888-382-1222.  This is the National DO NOT CALL list.  You must call from the phone number you want to have blocked.  It is not necessary to block cell phone numbers.  They can not be released to telemarketers.
Art Film Series Has Returned to Montgomery College
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Montgomery College has resumed it intelligent alternative to the films at the mega-cineplexs. The series, hosted by Gary Brown, a professor of government at the school and the film critic for the Villager, shows films that make you think.  The experience is improved by the three dollar price and the discussions of the films before and after the presentation.  Most often free soda is provided.  Films are shown on Saturday nights at 7pm in Building B room 102 (west side of the campus, use the western most entrance to get there). Mostly foreign films are shown, all are enjoyable.
