Tuesday is Election Day - Do You Know Where to Vote?
GM has five voting precincts; each one has its own voting place. They have been generally described below, though there are many little exceptions. If you are not sure, click here for the Montgomery County Elections site. Enter your information and you will find your correct voting precinct and voting location.

The precincts do not follow just The Woodlands geography but encompass other areas. If you can't find the answer, ask the Answerman on the GMVA Web site.

  • Precinct 32 - Millbend Forest and Red Cedar Circle (north of Sawmill, west of Grogan's Mill Rd.) - vote at Wilkerson Intermediate
  • Precinct 33- bounded by Woodlands Parkway on the north, Six Pines and Fernridge on the east, S. Millbend on the south, Grogan's Mill on the west. - vote at the South County Community Building (next to the library).
  • Precinct 67 - Glen Mill and other areas west of I45 -down along Maple Branch with Grogan's Mill on the west side. South of South Millbend this is in Precinct 33. - Vote at Lamar Elementary
  • Precinct 47 - High Oaks area south of Sawdust - vote at Spring Woodlands Church of Christ on Sawdust Road
  • Precinct 45 - Grogan's Point south of Sawdust - Timber Lakes/Timber Ridge Fire Station.

Two GM Residents Running for the State House of Representatives
Two Grogan's Mill residents, Mrs. Sammie Miller (D) and Mr. Rob Eissler (R) are running for the District 15 seat in the Texas House of Representatives. Many people in the community know both of them. If you are not familiar with Rob and Sammie we invite you to look at their backgrounds, qualifications and positions so that you can make an intelligent decision.

Election Information for Local Races and Sample Ballot
On our Web site we have started collecting information you need for the current election. We have focused on the local races where there is less information generally available. In particular, we have information on the North Harris Montgomery County College District candidates and issues.

We offered all candidates the opportunity to share information about them and their campaign and have received it from some. We have collected the newspaper articles on the races (click on the position number). You are being asked to vote on a $249 million dollar bond issue and three board of trustee positions. Links at our site will take you to anything you want to know.
